11 Upcoming Bollywood Movies Of 2015 That Are Worth Waiting For

2015 has already seen its fair share of super-hit Bollywood movies: Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Piku, Dil Dhadakne Do, Baby, Badlapur and NH10 but there have been some duds as well like Mr. X, Bombay Velvet and Hamari Adhuri Kahani. There have also been some sleeper hits like Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Margarita with a Straw.
But the year's not over yet and a lot of high octane action is upcoming. So here's what is going to keep you hooked, booked and cooked for the rest of the year:

1. Katti Batti
Release date: 18th September, 2015
2015 has belonged to Kangana so far and the latter half doesn't look any different. The talented actress is set for another release, this time opposite Imran Khan who is fresh from a prolonged sabbatical. Katti Batti narrates the story of Imran's character who falls in love with Kangana's character because of her attitude towards life and decides to move in with her, until one day Kangana walks out of the relationship. What happens next? Go figure!

2. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu
Release date: 25th September, 2015
The wait is finally over. India's king of comedy, Kapil Sharma, is finally making a full fledged debut on the big screen with Abbas-Mustan's Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu and his fans can't wait already. The film is believed to be a full on masala entertainer where Kapil could be seen romancing a lot of actresses like Elli Avram and Manjari Phadnis among others. However, our advice would be to leave your brains at home and go enjoy the movie simply for Kapil Sharma's performance.


3. Calendar Girls

Madhur Bhandarkar is known to have a blatantly neutral take on the entertainment industry. The National Award winning director has time and again shown the good, bad and ugly facets of his own industry in his previous movies. And the critically acclaimed director is back with his latest offering 'Calendar Girls' which unravels the world of models who feature on popular fashion calendars. Launching 5 fresh faces through this movie, Madhur is once again expected to throw open a controversial debate, this time in the world of fashion calendar shoots!

4. Singh Is Bling
Release date: 2nd October, 2015
We all have been missing the flamboyant Super Sikh ever since he made his first appearance in 2008. And guess what, the Super Sikh is out of his hiding and he is flashier and blingier than ever before. Akshay Kumar reprises the role of Happy Singh in the Prabhu Deva movie and the first look posters suggest the movie is going to be crazier! So, are you ready to keep up with the Singh?

5. Jazba
Release date: 9th October, 2015
One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Jazba marks the comeback of Aishwarya Rai to the celluloid. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film reportedly is a suspense thriller based on a lawyer's story whose daughter is kept hostage while she is asked to fight a case for a man who has been charged of rape and five murders and win it within seven days. Inspired by the Korean movie, Seven Days, Aishwarya's much fitter and leaner look for the film is already a big winner among her fans.

6. MS Dhoni
Release date: 22nd October, 2015
Biopics of sportspersons have become the new winning formula at the Box office these days. And the genre couldn't have asked for a bigger and better boost than the release of MS Dhoni, the movie. Neeraj Pandey's biopic on the life of MS Dhoni, India's most successful cricket captain ever, stars none other than the very fit Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie revolves around the early life, family and career of Dhoni and is expected to bring together the whole country for the love of the 

7. Shaandaar
Release date: 22nd October, 2015
Come this October and another fresh pairing is set to woo the audience's heart with Shaandaar! Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt star in this rom-com directed by Viskas Bahl which is touted as India's first destination wedding film being shot extensively in Leeds! Need we say more?

8. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Release date: 1st November, 2015
This movie is like a homecoming for Salman Khan as the actor returns to the Rajshri banner with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo after a long time. Paired opposite Sonam Kapoor for the first time, the fans are already excited to see their beloved bhai giving action a miss for some time and trying something fresh.

9. Ghayal Once Again

Talk of gorgeous real life Bollywood couples and we have the hottest couple in town making a grand entry on the silver screen once again after their magnanimous last outing in the form of the super-hit movie Ram-Leela. Looking to replicate the success of Ram-Leela, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are back with another larger-than-life offering in the form of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani. Apart from the exciting pairing of Ranveer and Deepika, the period drama also stars Priyanka Chopra in a powerful role, making it the most talked about movie of the year.
