Orlando Shooting Victim Sent Terrified Texts To His Mother
Mina Justice was asleep when she received the first text from her
30-year-old son. Eddie was trapped in the Florida gay club when the
suspected gunman, Omar Mateen took him and the others hostage.
He added that he was in the bathroom: “He’s coming. I’m gonna die.”

Mina Justice, the mother of Eddie Justice, has revealed the tragic texts
her son sent her from inside the Orlando nightclub where a gunman
opened fire yesterday, killing at least 50 people and injuring 53.

The first text he sent read: “Mommy I love you.”
Mina called 911 and texted her son back, “I’m calling them now. U still in there. Answer our damn phone. Call them. Call me.”
He texted his mom at 2:39 AM, “Call them mommy. Now.”

He told Mina that many were hurt. When Mina asked whether the gunman was
in the bathroom with them, Eddie replied, “He’s a terror.” And soon the
last text popped up on Mina’s phone, “Yes.”

Nearly 15 hours after Eddie’s last message, Mina is still waiting to hear from him, about him.
“His name has not come up yet and that’s scary. It’s just… It’s just, I got this feeling. I got a bad feeling,” said Mina.
