This Underwater Makeup Tutorial Is The Most Extra Thing We've Seen All Year

Makeup tutorials help us to learn beauty techniques that would otherwise feel above our skill level. They make the seemingly impossible (like perfect winged liner) appear possible.
And while we may not have asked for this latest makeup tutorial, it certainly proves that even the most outlandish approaches are doable.

Behold: An underwater makeup tutorial.

If someone asked us if doing makeup underwater was possible, we'd say, "Nah, probs not."
Of course, we'd be wrong. However, there are specific products that must be used under H2O.
For example, cream (probably long-lasting and sweat-proof) blush as opposed to powder.

This is the best way to test out your waterproof products.

The woman in this tutorial is also using waterproof eyebrow gel which, frankly, we'd suggest even above sea level.
Gotta keep them brows intact all day long!

Now, this part scares us a little.

As you know, using an eyelash curler requires a lot of focus and careful precision.
Therefore, anyone who dares to use one without a mirror (and underwater...like, what?!) is straight-up fearless.

Ahh! She's applying mascara without a mirror!

We've never seen someone apply mascara with their eyes closed, but when you're underwater, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Also, never before this tutorial has a waterproof mascara had to work so hard.

Lips last, as they say.

She went with a liquid lipstick, which is clearly underwater-tutorial-proof, as well.
And there you have it! The underwater tutorial that no one really needed but which we all found sort of fascinating anyway!
